How did you meet?

We actually met on the dating App bumble! We both grew up in Stocksbridge, a small village in Sheffield where everyone knows everyone but strangely never met! Our families both knew eachother and our parents even met in the same pub! As soon as we met we knew we were on to something special and the rest is history!

What made you choose Haarlem as your wedding venue?

It was us down to a T! We had been to view a couple of other wedding venues but as soon as we walked into Haarlem we knew it was the venue for us. We fell in love with the place straight away. We literally emailed to arrange booking the place in the car on the way home!

What has been your favourite part of planning your wedding?

Definitely the excitement building up, seeing everything slowly come together over the 2 years we planned our wedding, then finally seeing it on the day made it all worth while!

Tell us a bit about your theme or colour scheme? What inspired you, have you made anything yourself or added any personal touches?

Our colour scheme was greens and whites. We had greeny/grey bridesmaid dresses and Kerry at Tineke got the flowers spot on to fit our scheme, as did Tara with the styling.

What was the most memorable part of your wedding day?

We’ve sat and thought about this question for soo long but honestly we cannot pick one single bit!! The WHOLE day was absolutely amazing, we were waiting for one glitch at some point but there wasn’t, it was amazing! Even the rain didn’t bother us!!!
