How did you meet?
We have know and been friends with each other since we were 9 years old! We were introduced by mutual family friends and have been friends ever since!

What made you choose Haarlem as your wedding venue?
We chose Haarlem because of the relax vibe, the amount of space (indoors and out) and also when we came to visit we just got that feeling that it was the one! Also, Shannon was so bubbly but relaxed at the same time which made us feel so comfortable!

What has been your favourite part of planning your wedding?
The excitement of knowing all our friends and family would be at the same place at the same time!

Tell us a bit about your theme or colour scheme? What inspired you, have you made anything yourself or added any personal touches?
I (sophie) have always loved to be slightly different, I love vibrant colours and seeing things stand out. I really wanted our flowers to be a big element of the day (which they were, the flowers stole the show thanks to Sarah at Horseshoe) so we made sure the colours popped against the venue, suits and dresses as much as possible.
We made all the stationary ourselves, thankfully with working in a school I had access to a decent printer and lots of white card! We tried to cut costs where we could as much as possible and thankfully because Haarlem is already stunning it barely needed any additional touches! Shannon was brilliant when setting up, she was none stop helping us with everything and anything we needed and shared her expertise when arranging where to put things; she even decorated our cake! (Which looked incredible!)

What was the most memorable part of your wedding day? (but don't worry if you can't)
Jack- first time he saw Sophie & the food was delicious.
Sophie - being with everyone outside in the sunshine with the music in the background & the Mr & Mrs Game.
Also, when Betsy walked into the bridal suite in the morning wearing the dress she had refused to wear for months and then giving me the biggest cuddle she ever has.
